i think the old queen drugged the king and r@ped him
when he was only a teenager. that’s why he isn’t that close with blanche
Its also why he's bad at touching women.
so maybe the old wife was abusive and harassed the husband. now he doesn't like women or care much for his daughter (good thing Blanche doesn't look like her). hopefully he overcomes that trauma but either way all i care about is blanche. she rly needs a father without being punished for being the daughter of her mother
