Welllll.....we are not princesses, we'll never know
She doesn’t love them, but she needs them to stay alive so that her country can be rebuilt again and there would be a ruler.. you might be thinking “why can’t she become the ruler, she’s best fit” your right she is best fit she’s smart but she is not the type to want to stay in politics.. her only goal is to survive, so she needs her sisters to take the throne she doesn’t want to involve herself in dangerous things.. she’s smart way smarter then her sisters she was able to tell that there was going to be a war coming because of her first sister agreeing to the deal with the king. Either way she’s smart remember when the femine strike she had a plan to store the food in the west that could have solved the problem but she didn’t say anything because if she did she would have been hated by her sisters and they would’ve tried to kill her.. you might think she’s a coward but No she’s way smarter then them.. tho it would have been better if she made sure to have a backer... she said in one of the chapters that she was wrong not trying to have a backer to back her up.. she’s smart.
I don’t know why she holds her sisters in such high regard after they terrorized her, her entire life
