Create account then leave note in comment for the manga that take time to update to make it easy to catch up.. That's what I do. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I have an account and get updates, and still can't keep track of what's going on. Probably more due to short and less than frequent updates which break up the storyline just a bit too much. If the ch. were just a bit longer (and took their time on plot points a bit more) it would make it easier to follow, even with infrequent updates.

For the manga with short chapter & less frequent update or complicated storyline.. I leave some short note in my 'Comment' to help myself to keep track..
