I don't think they'd let her off so easily, especially since she has such a great spirit
But the duke also has a great spirit so it doesnt make sense. And if you relinguish the throne it means you dont have a ny desire to rule the empire. They cant possibly force her to do an emperor's duty just because she has a great spirit. At most, they would make her a close aide of the emperor.
She doesn’t want that kind of life, though….
Um, just a thought. She should just reveal her spirit then relinquish the throne just like what the male lead did. Then she would have a noble status plus she can finally reunite with her mom and dad.
