Honestly that might be a more preferable ending to me at least, reasoning is because the time they’re in right now is most likely not the nicest for their situation, the top being in a position where he most likely will need to get married some day and have offspring
(idk I’m assuming? If he is the first/ only son then this is most likely the case) and I just don’t see a very good outcome for the bottom in the situation he is in.
For them to be reborn in the future and meet again in a better situation than they are in now would make for what I feel is a happier ending (this is all my opinion Idk what will actually happen lmao)
