The uke was way too weak willed. He does most of the work in the house, which goes mostly unappreciated. And he just lets his mother and the seme do whatever the hell they want without concern for his feelings??? I would've resented the hell out of the mom and demanded to see the seme, even going so far as to move out of the house just for spite. Screw them, let them learn how to cook on their own, it's not like it's rocket science!

It totally clear that it was rushed. All that emotion at the end then the final chapter just shoots past. I feel gypped.
If I was the uke do you know how angry I'd be at my mother. The seme has done nothing to be fired at all and the mom figured that out, but we don't see how or why. If this was me I'd want to go with the seme. Then he would have left me a broken crying mess which would have made me even more angry at my mother. I know it sounds immature but I'd leave the house. Punishing the seme and then causing her own child horrible pain, only to have them get away from them would make her want to make it right.
I wouldn't come back until the seme got the job back. But he's stubborn and wouldn't come back anyway. But the years would go by and in the end the ending would be more meaningful.
