I see it a lot and I agree, but I usually take it easy when the FL has low self esteem or/and a past of abuses. Because it's very hard to people like that accept someone really can love them, so they usually assume they are a bother and try to run (even when what they truly want is also be loved). They want avoid more rejection, so they try leave or build the wall first. This give them a sense of control.
It's contradictory, but it's still very human like
Don’t argue w my comments cuz it gets annoying and this is just my opinion… anyways I’m sry but whenever the fl wants to ask for a divorce thinking the ml doesn’t want them… why do they always phrase it in a way that makes it seem as if they dont want the marriage cuz like that just makes it more complicated for them to get together… like they should’ve just been like “if u don’t want this marriage after a certain amount of time or find someone u love more then let’s divorce” or if there is another reason they should just say the reason… idk I just find these things frustrating cuz they phrase it like crap and cause misunderstandings
