I think ahin is not like Noelle, the way he feels about the actual empress seems to be something other than love and admiration, it's more like an obligation, we've seen him multiple times actually doubting and considering the fact that the so called '' saintess'' might not actually be the one.
Although he takes a lot of care about her he actually see all the hurtful thing she does.

And come on ahin is actually the most stupid one because he has actually all the clue to see the True nature of the saintess, he's the closest priest that she keeps around but he chose to ignore it because of his blindness towards his duty.

Noell actually think and do not follow blindly like him also it is true that Leticia is the true saintess since Noell has that hidden magic realization in her so she's sure that Leticia is the real one so she does not really have to go the same direction as ahin

Are we reading the same thing? Ahwin obviously don't serve the "saintess" out of admiration but out of fear and obligation. That's not the same as Noelle's feelings. Noell's one of the puredt character in this manhwa. She's just trying to help him see the truth but Ahwin can't because he's a blind follower. I'm more annoyed than Ahwin tbh. Ahin was actually a 'temporary' wing for josephine who was also just a 'temporary saintess'. Since she was only temporary, the darkness used her and brainwashed her into thinkinn that she could be more powerful than that. When she was still a 'temporary saintess' she was given 3 (i think, not fs how many) temporary wings and that includes Ahin so when she got brainwashed by the darkness the 3 temporary wings was also brainwashed and they added a fee more for it to become 9 wings (if ur a saintess, u will have 9 wings but for josephine most of her wings are fake and made out of dark magic). Everytime ahin doubts Josephine the dark magic continues to brainwash him so that he could never think or have an idea its leticia who's actually the saintess. towards fhe end he will know who the real saintess is tho bcs the darkness got a lot weaker after leticia went back to the past (also bcs of the help of the goddess and the dragon)


Noelle was never swayed by the darkness bcs she was never the temporary wing for the temporary saintess (aka josephine) so she didnt get brainwashed and thats the reason why she knew it was leticia who was the real saintess. (She also became the 1st wing of leticia)

Here we go again, it seems another one completely forgot that a wing CANNOT disobey the saintess even if it goes against their beliefs and moral code.

It's not a sense of obligation that's making him follow her, if you remember, the manhua clearly implies that the wings are connected to the saintess spiritually. ANY orders issued by the saintess HAVE to be followed because disobeying will lead to punishment, not physical punishment from the Saintess because if it's just that, a character like Noelle would have left right the fuck away. But as in punishment by fucking them up spiritually. You'll see an example soon, an asshole wing will be introduced soon(huge asshole) and they disobeyed the saintess once in the past but they got fucked up real bad.

Yes this but ps. Josephine is NOT a saintess. Ahin is not the wing of the REAL saintess (aka leticia) bcs he hasnt swore his loyalty towards her. Once he does that, he will become the wing of Leticia (which he will in the end) and another reason why ahwin CANT figure out who the real saintess is, is bcs of the dark magic (like i said earlier) and he was originally the 'temporary wing' for the 'temporary saintess' but he have NO idea that shes a temporary saintess and he was also brainwashed by the darkness.

Since Josephine is not the REAL saintess, if they dont follow her it doesnt matter BUT since the darkness is overpowering their power, its the darkness who's punishing them not the fake saintess.

If ur taking abt Tenua (the huge asshole), he's actually not a wing. He's a fake wing made by the dark magic. Hes not the REAL wing bcs eventho he knew that it was leticia whos the real saintess towards the end (the darkness power was very weak after leticia went back to the past which made it harder and harder for the darkness to control them bcs leticia will become more powerful since shes the real saintess, also bcs the dragon and the goddess is helping her) he still tried hurting her but her wings helped her ofc and this is the enough proof that tenua IS NOT a real wing but a FAKE wing. He got hurt spiritually bcs the darkness took over him already (since hes not the real wing, he does not have any power) which made it easier to brainwash him other than the REAL wings (ahwin and like 2 more i think but they havent showed in the manhwa yet im prtty sure). Since the darkness took over him, he can spiritually hurt him if he does not follow the orders of the fake saintess (or basically the puppet of the dark magic)

I'm fully aware, i've read as much spoilers as i could so i know the plot twists and who is who. Also i'm talking about that time Tenua disobeyed the saintess(the evil momma) and he experienced the punishment.

When i was talking about saintess in previous comment btw, i'm not talking about MC, it's her mother. I know she's fake, i just prefer to call her that to makes things easier until the time has come that it's revealed in the manhua that she's a fake ass bitch
