(I mean...what are genes? What are DOMINANT genes? xDDD)

Sorry if this seems offensive to anyone in any way (didn't mean to)

It always seems to me that they idealize caucasian beauty. (That's why they love drawing big round eyes, blond hair, blue eyes, bishounen types).

Some centric europeans are beautiful... but not all of them are blond. (maybe nordics more often?) I say latinoamerican features are gorgeous too. But they forget about us. (also some black peple are oh so hot... but that's just my opinion)

Big eyes I think actually comes from the idea that it looks brighter and more innocent, not from eurocentric beauty standards (though those feed into it in this day and age). Same with pale skin, which comes from ideas of nobility who would have the luxury not to do manual labor out in the sun. But again, western standards feed into this too. It's interesting to deconstruct.

Both blonde hair and blue eyes are actually the recessive genes

You make a very good point, half of my entire family is blonde hair with blue eyes and the other half is Korean. I look just like my mom although my brother was born a blondie so it's not always the case.

This isn't offensive at all! Im half Japanese and I have brown hair and light brown eyes. It does bother me (about the fact that they think they we have blue eyes and blonde hair) but Im open minded and chill so I let it go. Thanks for saying something about it!

Do you live in Japan? If so do you get bullied for being half? I'm just asking because I used to have a friend that was half Japanese and she had moved to the States with her dad after living in Japan for a while and she got bullied because of her lighter hair and eye color.

No. My mother made me stay in Canada because she assumed it would be better. My full Japanese friends say it doesn't happen. It may happen to some, but it's apparently rare. Either way, you've got to embrace it. Being mixed is honestly way better than being from one country. So tell your friend that if she ever goes through that again, to just laugh at them and say “I dont care, I love it“. :) (I dont look Japanese at all! But I am proud. Apparently being mixed is okay, but when you're a halfu, its taboo. They are either jealous, or seriously butthurt). ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
