TBH I kinda wanted Haruhi to hook up with Casanova or Kyoya. Tamaki is just so... obvious. It's cliche and I got tired of it. But I vowed to never look up doujins of this, lest I ma ╥﹏╥ke myself sad that they aren't canon, but here I am again, falling for this cute "Mommy-Daddy" couple. Damnit.
