I can see the hate for yuu. I dislike yuu because he sticks himself in business where he doesn't belong. His "love" for roku/betty makes absolutely no sense and seems superficial to me, like more like sympathy and pity. He never really interacted with roku much except that one convo in the beginning and seeing him be raped by makoto. And then he is just like yes I'll run away with a person I barely know and risk my life to be with him. I don't see why he's butting into a world he doesn't belong just for that. Ai saved him just for him to hop back to the yakuza world. He's one of those characters who are overly idealistic and spouts pretty ideals and acts without a plan to help roku. He's like "I just want you to live without having to worry about tomorrow" yeah that's nice but what plan do you have to do to help him achieve this? Just being like I have this future I want for you but having no plan nor any resources to help you out of your situation is irritating. What do you think that you, a random civilian, can do that roku hasn't tried before. Also, yuu had the choice and option to run away.

Well yeah, blame Yuu for butting in a world that he couldn't even grasp. He can't easily leave now, now that he's diving deep into the iceberg and could no longer come out of it either being dead or barely hanging there. If he wants to help that's all on him can't blame the guy for going through such shit just to save a guy he barely knows. But yeah why people hate Betty so much? They want the MF 'ai' and 'mako to' to be together and just like 'why tf is Betty so annoying can't he just fuck off or smth?' Anyone I mean anyone would do the same thing as Betty if they were in the situation. They can run but at the same time he'll be still ties and be hunted by it doom to stay in a situation until he dies. Poor Betty reading ur comment makes me realize that I don't dislike Betty much not in the first place actually MF just wants to survive, and I admire that from him I earnestly wish for him to alive and happy. Those step siblings can just go fuck themselves for all I care. Betty is the only dude I want to be happy.
if it were not for Yuu's foolish actions it wouldn't give Betty the hope to survive. So there is something to gain by yuu's actions that you dislike. Even so I'm just hoping they'll survive

I dislike all characters equally in this manga, because they are just fuck up and selfish like everyone else, there is no exceptions even if you think "Ai isn't even that worst because he saved makoto several times", makoto is a manipulative son of a bitch mind you. I can't wish them happiness like y'all but just hope that it will be all done and over and go back to their own little fucked up and shitty lives.
