I would honestly prefer paying the chapters and heloing the author instead of joining their discord just because they don't want or don't have the time to upload the full chapter here(〜￣△￣)〜 I just don't understand why you should do something like this, it makes no sense to me but I'm no one to say what is right or wrong for them...
I've been reading mangas from scans teams for over a decade, and in all honesty I completely understand private servers. As back in the day it was extremely common for scans team to have their own blogs where they would post chapters. At the end of the day scan of any sorts (just uploads or translations) are illegal and mangago has become a huge well known website. And authors and legal sites are well aware of it. Everything on here is copyright infringement. So private servers releases are much more safe for the scans team. And it's not like they HAVE TO upload on here but it annoys me when they still use mangago for advertising bc it just seems they want people in their server and using the website to get them to join. If you are advertising the chapters judt fucking upload them here. Or at most *LEAVE COMMENTS* SAYING YOU HAVE THEM IN THE DISCORD. Don't go fishing with half chapters

HOWEVER it's fucking annoying to use mangago to advertise your discord. Either upload the chapters or leave. Yall could just be "join the discord to read it a day earlier" or whatever but shit is annoying
