There's was a medicine(?) that made people powerful and invincible for a couple of minutes, then afterward corrupt them making them demon like and killing people. The MC looks for where this medicine is coming from and is lead the an orphanage. When MC got there (plus the ml/fl) they found one of the kid with a medicine which was given to them by a stranger who told them "it can cure sickness."
I think it was a manga. And like a medieval time or yeah. (This wasnt really the main plot, but rather just a scene/chapter.)
