So from what I read the person that the guy likes is not the 16th princess but the 16th prince as we can see. Anyone else recalls that he kept calling him Feng yi instead of feng yun well that’s because he thinks feng yi is his twin sister who was born weak however turns out feng yi is actually the 16th prince who was decreed by his father who was advices by some proffesor or something to let the 16th prince be treated as a girl and thus dress as a girl. Our Mr. Top however wasn’t aware of that even though everyone knew this fact and his grandparents and everyone in the court reminded him of the decree made by the late emperor to have the 16th princes name turned into Feng Yi for the first 12 years of his life and treated as a girl which the 16th prince hated being called by his childhood nickname and female dresses he would smack Mr. Top every time he called him Feng Yi and that lady’s and gentlemen is how our Mr. Top found out that Feng Yi is our 16th prince an also the reason why he was even allowed to have sleep overs with Feng Yi when they were children even though it didn’t ochre to him that it would damage his/her reputation if he had indeed been a girl to begin with. All’s good also the princess he was supposed to marry was the one who poisoned the prince and even tried to kill him multiple times. I’m waiting for her horrible end don’t worry. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
