Story summary

So it seems there's people confused about this story so I'll just summarise it best I could from my understanding.

Alright so Kanae and Ougi were childhood friends who knew from the start they were fated pairs and wanted to be with each other. Because of that Kanae told Ougi to bite him when they were younger so that they would be together forever and even tried building a house together for them to live in which is kinda cute even tho it keeps falling. So one day kanae's dad leaves him and his older brother Yuki for work or smth during that time Kanae's heat came and Yuki raped him and even impregnated him. So the whole neighbourhood ended up finding out about the pregnancy and kanae became super stressed and aborted the baby and broke up with Ougi because he probably felt bad and felt like he cheated on Ougi or something (this isn't confirmed but the line "the baby isn't Ougi's" made me think Kanae felt like he betrayed Ougi by sleeping with his brother even tho its against his will) and then Ougi moved out and ended up temporarily forgetting Kanae because he was broken hearted.

I think I may have to re-read but I think after the abortion kanae and his family also had to move out as if they ran away from everything and yuki ran off or something. So at kanae's new school he often got told by boys that they were his fated pair and that they were meant to be together and nearly got raped several times. The doctor told him that kanae has a special condition that makes him has excessive pheromones more than the average omega and advised him to get paired so that no accidents happen anymore but kanae only wants to pair with Ougi and no one else. Then one day his brother Yuki returned and its not explained but he said apparently he was held captive by another alpha and treated like an omega which is prolly why he was wearing that weird collar thing and anyways that part wasn't explained in detail so we don't know what happened but yuki was able to find Ougi's current school and where he lives to help kanae. So kanae was getting ready to move there and was thinking of possible failures like Ougi hating him or not remembering him but he says to himself if he ends up being unable to be with Ougi, he would commit suicide and that he has nothing to lose. (pretty messed up I must say but hella dedicated). So he moved to the school Ougi is at which is where the first chapter started and yes Ougi has forgotten kanae because to him kanae abandoned and left him and the whole class of alphas just like the boys in his old school started saying kanae was their fated pair (that isn't true of course kanae has special pheromones that makes every alpha think they're meant to be with him) and the whole class ends up fighting over who gets to mark kanae. At first Ougi wasn't that interested but gradually starts falling in love with kanae and after he caught Hayato raping Kanae he got mad (he wasn't really showing it but he was) and then rapes Hayato after the whole incident ended.

Another thing to note about Hayato is that he is an alpha and is together with that beta with glasses which is why he hates Kanae because his pheromones are affecting him even tho hayato doesn't love kanae at all and loves Yuu-chan (the beta) which is probably why he raped him out of anger and also he couldn't control his pheromones at the time. Which is why during that one scene when he was raping kanae he says "why am I doing this??" which is probably implying his body is moving on its own due to the pheromones .

So yea the whole alpha class has this plan or competition on who gets to mark kanae and even used a 3d printer to make a key that will unlock his collar. A last none of them could mark kanae because he was already marked by Ougi all those years ago. So he gets chased around Ougi saves him and Ougi ends up getting stuck under the tree they had a talk yadda yadda and in the end they all end up happy with Ougi and kanae finally being paired after all those years and Ougi also remembered kanae back after that and the whole class accepts that Ougi has "won".(well they never loved kanae anyways they were just affected by his pheromones so pretty much only Ougi actually loved him) and that is the enddddd. I might got some stuff wrong since this is just my perception but I hope this helped if u were confused about the story.

Overall I loved the psychological aspect of this but the excessive raping did get to me and I wanted to drop it but its a pretty decent story with dark themes and sorta happy ending yayyy.
