I kinda don't understand about the 'forgiveness' thing. For me ( I may be wrong), is it to stabilise the emotions of the king? The king is blinded by stress, anger and revenge that the grand prince may want him to take a breather and calm his mind. To let the king judge things objectively instead of being controlled by extreme emotion? (tho I would turn crazy if I am in his shoes. I would just killl everyone lololol)
Is it a way for him to prevent him to becoming a tyrant in the future? Like, try to have a heart of steel?
Currently, the king may look tough but he's fragile both mind and heart.
Or I am just talking some nonsense. I should wait for the next chapters. Lol
