While yes she doesn't communicate as often as she should, even Yeonwoo acknowledges that he is lacking in that department too. It proves my point even more that he just admires her more than he really likes her bc in a way he subconsciously knows that there isn't really anything romantic between them and her lack of "interest" and his lack of initiative just goes to show that their romance is not meant to be or it has been introduced too soon. Unless Yeonwoo either acknowledges his real intention for approaching her ("wanting to be like her" or "wanting to get to know her more") or confronts her directly, then I don't see how their relationship isn't anything but for show. Maybe the author has something else in mind and I'm just talking out of my ass but I have been in a situation similar to this and I just don't feel comfortable siding 100% with Yeonwoo because he really doesn't fully understand Haesol like Nari or the others do. When he's thrown a curveball (like being told about her childhood friend and her monopolization of her for 2 weeks) it just proves that he needs to learn more about Haesol before he can attempt a romantic connection between them. Maybe Haesol does have romantic feelings for Yeonwoo bc of some reason us readers haven't learned yet, but I feel like stories like this have their flaws and pushes us to pity the ML when the FL hasn't really done much but be herself.
I agree with your point lmao. I can't relate much since I never been in any romantic relationship, but I do agree that their relationship rn is no more than friendship. Haesol's standing is still a mysterious.
Readers now become more anxious because we don't know anything about Haesol. They only can understand Yeonwoo because author only expose Yeonwoo's side so far. That's why, by following the flow, some of the readers would put a blame on Haesol. It's refreshing to think of what Haesol is really up to tho. But she is basically unreadable so unless the author expose it, we wouldn't know what exactly happened in her mind.

Am i the only one whose team Haesol? I feel like Yeonwoo doesn't genuinely have feelings for her; the more likely scenario is that he misread his admiration for her as romantic feelings. Haesol is aware of why people approach her due to her looks and "fame" and understands their ulterior motives. However, the only difference between the crowd and Yeonwoo is that she also understands that Yeonwoo likes her for a more innocent reason than say that other guy that sticks around and therefore she lets him in knowing that he'll eventually learn that he never really liked her romantically. That is because his fantasies about dating her are completely different from reality bc it turns out he doesn't know her at all and the part that he thinks he likes about her are projections of his own insecurities and feelings. But hey, that's just me though
