To summarize, FL is not acting like herself because of the will of the Abella (former saintess) and the FL is the reincarnation of Abella. Before Abella died, she and mikhail were lovers and prolly since mikhail is a dark element user, he put a curse so that Abella will only love him until her next life (just my guess btw) but yeah. ML is angry because FL said "I love you" to mikhail in the old dragon language while tryig to save him from ML's fire (but the FL did not really meant to say that. It's only because of the will of Abella)
