tbh, they made gio's trust issues realistic (for me). not everybody gets their first heartbreak from families so it's gonna be way harder for them to believe everybody will stay. if their own family was able to hurt them, then it's not gonna be hard to have other ppl hurt them.
gio thinks he was abandond by his own biological family easily, so it's hard for him to believe anyone, not even the person in love with him, stay.
well i also understand felix. if i was in his shoes, i'd want gio to be better too. that man has helped in many ways (that goes both ways) and if it's the only thing i can do for him to be cured, i'd be ready to take that little chance of him in getting better.
