Thing is, this story steam from a rape. Mc got rape by bro in law. Got traumatized so he kill raper and sis knew about it but instead of hating raper. She still protect him and curse mc and took his power by making his son compete with mc.
Of course mc lost, now in season 2, mc will be punish(to find, seek out all the lost soul he destroy.(when the event happen, mc got crazy and became a tyrant. The sis said it has no connection btw the 2 event but I decline.
I think the “rape” part contributed to what make this story so powerful because that is what make the victim to have a really powerful and dark history of his time as a ruler. It is worth reading even the rape part because that is how we know more about the victim and how/who he really is as a person before he became god of war. It’s still your decision to read it or not though (⌒▽⌒)
Worth to read it if you wanna read it bcs of its storyline, if you want romance and cute cuddle romantic, then this story is not for you. But trust me! It's worth it to try! The rape part is just the past, the current now is the story between Seth and Horus(as you can see on the cover picture of this manhwa)
