Don't mean to nitpick

I really don't mean to nitpick but the current arc is a bit of a reach even by the manhwa's standards/world/storyline. I get that the duchess is great and all but to say that she solved the problem of alcoholism by introducing tea to the lower society is ridiculous. Gin is not a normal drink that you can drink on a regular basis and be fine. It causes addiction and alcoholism, which are very difficult to treat even in the modern world, with therapy and treatment centers etc. To show that a problem like addiction was tackled and wiped out from society just by introducing tea into the society is a big reach even with manhwa logic.

Actually if you take a look at the rat park experiment, it shows that addiction first reason is isolation, if the addicts are able to change their drinking/addiction behaviors with being reintegrated into society and being it helps recovery. You can check the model that Portugal is now using for treating drug addiction, it went from the worst percentages of europe to the best recovery rate when they changed their strategy to focus on the fullfiment and community aspects

That's my point. Just introducing a new drink into society doesn't magically cure all. Efforts into other areas is needed to tackle alcoholism, like how people need a change in environment and help with reintegration and their isolation. This takes effort by the whole community, especially the people close to them and doesn't happen by just offering a different drink in the market like you would be offered a 7up vs cola.

Honestly a lot of these dont make sense. Like, catching all the criminals, solving alcohol addiction by altering the trend, removal of corsets among the ladies... Not saying that's impossible, but it'd take YEARS or DECADES to accomplish each of them. I cant remember which part (there were so many problem-solving she made, nothing stood out anymore) but at one point i was really baffled by poor writing, all just to say "once again the duchess saved the day". The crazy thing is that after everything that she'd accomplished you'd think it's been years since Chloe married the Duke but no. I think it was mentioned somewhere that it was just about a year since they married. I do realise it's just fictional and just like you, i dont want to nitpick but oml it's frustrating how Chloe is set to succeed in everything she's doing. I mean good for her, but what's a story without real conflicts?? I feel like the last 'actual' conflicts were chapters ago, with the fertility issue and coming clean with the Duke about being a transmigrate. Other than that, it's always about people having issues with MC... but nothing really happen anyway because the Duke and the Emperor himself got her back.

Thankyou. That's exactly how I feel with this story. It was good in the beginning with her expanding the business and all but now, it's turned into Chloe magically saves the day again, how admirable an it's frustrating. I know it's always been ridiculous and poorly written with how problems are solved in the manhwa but the current arc just broke the camel's back.
