While re-reading this manga I noticed one thing I didn't notice before: Alex kinda really needs Cole.
It's kind of interesting but Alex isn't some kind of perfect man, just as Brad said he's the one who likes to look down on others. And it's the reason he was dumped many times. People won't go and say something like "being with you makes me hate myself" out of nowhere. Alex is a man of a pride. His pride was hurt when Lily made a move on Cole not him, when somebody made a joke of him sucking a d.ck, when Cole cheated on him. I guess being with a "perfect" man who makes you feel inferior not suitable for everyone but since Cole is messed up he will stay with him nevertheless. That's why Alex kinda needs Cole.
Their relationship is toxic not solely because of Cole but both of them.
Will we see a characters major development?
