Hey hey! As a rape victim, I also ignore it.
There are almost no "Yaois" w no rape in it, so u either just don't read any or ignore it. It really brothers me sometimes, bc rape is a disgusting thing and should never be normalized.
And I hate ppl who say: "but it's only fictional".
Rape is still wrong, even if its fictional. (Don't say u feel sorry, im already over it :) )
imo, as long as you know that rape that occurs in fiction should not be condoned in real life, u're good. I mean, there are fictional works that discuss the thought process of murderers yet i'm pretty sure the consumers know that murder is against the law; and that they [the consumers] wont be committing murder anytime soon. Just differentiate fiction fr reality, that's all.

it bothers me how we’re so used to it.. thats how normalization works! rape culture is very normalized and often ppl dont realize it until others make a reaction so dont worry about it
I do not agree on any rape or sh*ts but mostly of the story nowadys involves alot like this and im not saying it should be normalize more like im used to it
So idont know if its my fault that i do feel bad about the rape a bit but mostly i ignore it and i dont know what to feel
I feel bad for the people who does and makes me feel guilty about it and the reality and story doesnt compare! I really feel so bad to people who were victim of rape
But then i really want to read it or dont but really want to but i wont cause of the guilt that maybe i would ignore or dont feel bad about this ---
