I think the reason why Sana didn't feel "loved" by the fox is because she grew up as a princess, accustomed to being able to get almost anything she wanted, from the people who allegedly loved her, whereas the fox's "love" was clearly about *him* getting whatever he wanted from *her*. In other words, that Sana went from being a royal princess whose own voice was usually listened to and obeyed, to being a doll whose feelings and opinions were never sincerely taken into account, controlled and possessed by the fox, without any freedom. While any person would've resented being treated like a possession, and deprived of their freedom, it must have been a lot worse for a former royal princess, who'd probably been used to having people catering to her wishes, at least until that point... The difference must have been so drastic that it must have seemed unpalatable for her, so I'm not really surprised she ended up feeling like this.
As for that thing about the words from Sana's mother accidentally becoming like a curse, I think they definitely caused a lot of this, since it was those words that made the fox curious enough to stay in the apalace, hidden right beside little Sana, for an entire decade. I also thought it was weird that the fox acting surprised at the sibling love thing, so much that I almost thought he'd never known Sana actually had a brother. But, that's unlikely, given all the years he spent as Yuma, Sana's nursemaid... Though there's still a chance he was surprised because he didn't know the current emperor was the same as that one little brother of hers that he "forgot" to kill in the past... otherwise, I'm not sure.

Lmao the plot was kinda wacky wacky and there's a lot more to unfold it seems , I didn't want to get to this at first coz of the bright red theme yet I force myself to give it a try and it was worth it, tho it doesn't seem much popular by the look of the comments ?
