it’s not about him being straight? cole is worried about alex being put into the role of a child’s father. he’s donating to a lesbian couple, i think cole understands they’re not straight.
Most insecure people stay insecure in reality. And he's what 20-22? Most people are really confused and insecure in this age group. Cole has Alex up on this really high pedestal, and it'll a lot more time for him to adjust and finally accept that they're equal.
