Not totally. I think they mixed multiple myths about the gods of Egypt. They took a lot from the Osiris Myth though, but not everything.

As I said, the most known one is the Osoris Myth, where Isis and Osiris, brother and sister, got married and reign over Egypt. Seth is also their brother in this myth, and gets married to the other sister, Nephtys. Horus is Osiris and Isis' son.
Seth didn't specifically kill Osiris because he wanted to be the king of Egypt in this myth, he was just jealous because his wife cheated on him with his brother.
Isis was never bitter against Osiris, even if Osiris and Nephtys did have sex and conceive Anubis. She was "just" devastated. She even took Anubis in, as one of her children.
Horus was conceived post mortem of Osiris. Isis was in bird form and Osiris was a mummy. Isis then tried to hide Horus from Seth so he couldn't find him.
After that, Horus wanted to avenge his father, that's all. He didn't have any feelings for Seth.
There is no 'real' sexual relationship between Horus and Seth in this version of facts. But they try to use seduction/engrossment to dominate the other.
The tasks to see who should be the real king of Egypt between Seth and Horus are also taken from this myth.

BUT, another version of facts, an older myth, where Osiris and Isis don't exist yet, Horus and Seth are considered equals and enemies. They fight each other a lot. During their battles, they have a son, Thot. At the end, they reconcile and they form a couple, which is a way to represent an equilibrium between opposites forces.

I think they took liberties reinterpretating Osiris Myth with knowledge of the 2nd and its homosexual relationship. But I may be mistaken and they just took the Osiris Myth and reinterpreted it.

I don't know how the 2nd season goes so maybe I'm wrong with the Horus/Seth couple myth.

As it's just a hobby of mine to research about different mythologies (mainly through Internet because of Covid), my knowledge may be lacking.
