Oh what a mess for everyone involved. I almost dropped this because fl was ticking me off so much in the beginning. Yeah, I know some have issues with ml. When all is said and done, nobody asked to be in this position. Not ml or fl or the empress. Yet they and all those loyal to them putting their lives on the line to see this through……are stuck. I’m glad I hung in there. Fl is now understanding how to play this ugly game. She’s matured and her stupid, selfish, frivolous behavior has stopped. She’s seems to finally grasp what’s at stake.
All that being said, I’m feeling so bad for Erobella. Her mother just told her they both only exist for her brother to use for whatever purpose he needs. I’m secretly hoping that somehow she and fl will become comrades. That Erobella will refuse to be sold off and go to the other side. Anyway, this has gotten so much better. The plot and character growth have made this a story I look forward to reading.
