I think I’m leaning towards the logical doctor. If the treatment’s success was near impossible, I would like to be told that, instead of being told to fight on. I don’t want to fight for something and go through the pain, and force my family to pay high medical fees (hundreds of thousands for cancer treatment) if I’m most likely not going to survive.

I do think the logical doctor isn’t really purely logical. He’s moreso of a negative doctor, because all he talked about was death, but he could have talked about probabilities or the treatment itself in expansive. I expected the logical doctor to speak more about the details of how the treatment may fail or succeed, but instead he talked about the acceptance of death. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have talked about accepting death, but he definitely could’ve talked about other things that the optimistic doctors failed to mention.

Just my take fighting for your illness is really brave and courageous it’s entirely your decision
