Hey, you know how we call a sex crime rape only when "we go all the way", it really makes you think why we define rape that way, right? What is the difference between Rape and sexual assault? We agree that someone being forced against their will to do something sexual or have something sexual done to them is wrong, why is it that we perceive the injury differently when one "goes all the way" as opposed to when one is, say, given a blowjob forcefully? If you are interested In this line of argument, I would recommend Catherine MacKinnon's piece on Rape. It challenges the way we perceive and understand rape.
Yes, that's probably not the best place to discute it, but the topic is important to discute and reflect on.
I believe the term "rape" mean different things related to the legislation in a country. For example, in France, "rape" is use to speak about a penetration of anything without consent in any orifice. And consent can't be gave if the person's not aware of herself (like drunk or on drugs). So I believe a felatio is consider rape. But im not an expert. And I don't know if it's different in other countries (I cringe when I read things like "you were drunk, we fucked, so now take responsibility !" HE WAS DRUNK ! You're the bastard who abused a drunk person without self awareness ! Dammit.)

I just read a part of the first chapter and it seem like the usual blackmail-rape romantised story. I want a sane story, not something that makes it seem like rape is a mandatory part of a relationship.
Thoughts ?
