Spoiler if you didn’t read all of it

I think this was really well written but I just don’t like how he ended it with his best friend who has been there for him for years on just that one fight that they had. I also didn’t like the ending where he forgives him even tho he manipulated the professor and was gonna commit suicide just bc it didn’t go well. Like no duh ya literally planned all of this to get closer to him. I wish he picked his best friend but I still like this bl
