Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for her her to be reincarnated in the same world. Honestly I was expecting her to start anew in another world; redemption of some sort.
I think it was the effect of the poison, they told her that it would cause her to age further even tho she was cured, it might be that after jumping into the lake it aggravated her condition and she aged rapidly and so no one was able to recognise her afterwards.

Was the sweeping lady at the end the saint? But didn't she go into the river(and go to another world)? There's no way she could have gotten out without anyone knowing cuz the two guards were there and alot of other people were surely around too. So how is she still in this world??
