I thought transsexual was denotes people who had a change physically (removal of private parts, etc), while transgender is being more inclined to being the opposite sex (i.e. I am physically still a male, but I consider myself a woman)
Transsexual is outdated now. Only older trans folk still use it. There is no need to differentiate trans people based on the body they currently have. Frankly it's nobody's business. Transgender is used for all trans people now regardless of medical or social transitioning.
kindly asking translators to not use the term “transsexual” and use “transgender” instead as the first one has negative meanings :) it was a good read!!
