these shoujo manga always make the ML look more mature faster than the FL, i guess they do it for the sake of fan service for us ladies... they also make the males a lot taller than the girls (i think it's an ideal preference thing...)
the guy will look like he's 10 yrs older than the girl when he's only like 2 yrs older...
