No you got it wrong, nobody is defending the rape part. People are fighting the fact of whether this sort of story (not the rape part, but how it's basically like one of those manga you can find prevalently on MRM) should be here at all or not.
Also most yaoi manga unfortunately has a component of rape.. even worse they romanticise it.
So this is the reason why if you are underage I don't advise you to keep reading yaoi, I don't want people who have never been in serious relationships to think this is ever going to be normal or ok.
Read to your own discretion but remember it's just fantasy and this is NEVER to be emulated
