I have seen Ashiteru used but one time the whole time I have been reading manga. That was at the end of story. Rommy 69 is right abt. it's use. The writer made sure to highlight the word to let the reader know how special it was.why ? to appeal to her core aud. which is in Jpn. not the West. We would not know what the word would mean. Jpn. is one of the hardest lang. to understand bec. a lot of it has sig. cult. context. therefore implied. You know it because you are Jpn.
Exactly my thought!! I would like to see a non-smoking Asami. I don't like cigarettes and I don't like the stereotype that we can often see that the "bad guys" are smokers. When I say the "bad guys", it means the people who belong to the mafia/who are doing illegal things, etc...
I like the fact that Aki and Asami aren't using a lot of words to express their feelings. I like to see their gestures, their gazes when they're looking at each other or their silences which often speak more than a lot of words, but I also would like to see them say more words about their love, especially from Asami. I'd like to see a little bit more of the jealous side of Asami too.
Okay - challenge: If you could change one thing about a character (anything goes) who would you pick and what would you change?
