Imo, the ending is actually good? Yeah, the author did not include the part where the two families meet and the ex-bf possible romance but romance development is done pretty well, it's not haste and the author really took his/her time for that. Just sharing, but I've read quite a few danmei's which are unsatisfactory and this is not one of them. Ik danmei and manhua are different but still they're stories so I think that's enough for them to be comparable. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
