frustrating

This was a little bit an exercise in frustration. I found the FL so long suffering, such a doormat, so weak and boring. I don't want to read a story about a girl who stays home and does NOTHING for 7 yrs while her fiancee is away, then he comes home and is rude to her and he's off living his life again for SO long while she .... does nothing.. Ugh.. And WHY did he allow that Valentine person to be with him every day?? Fawning over him, and him not telling his wife anything about it? Just annoying.

Reread this for like million of times and I agree. Both of them can be quite frustrating but pls think about it from the characters' views. They're still new at relationship. Some may have up and downs and they cannot be honest with each other but at the end of the story, you can see how both of them try to change. You can see the characters development and that's what make this story better. It views the reality of relationship and not just about an ideal, perfect, relationship u think off.

If you don't want the FL to be weak and boring then do u want her to slay a demon too then? It would have been a different plot. If u don't want to read, then don't. No one force you

First, those aren't the only two choices - weak and boring or slay a dragon. What about a good story that's entertaining with good pacing that's not boring and annoying? There's tons of those out there, it can be done.
Second, I didn't ask for an ideal, perfect relationship, what's the point in reading that? IT would be boring. But a heroine who does nothing ever, just waits, creates a character I can't respect, enjoy reading about or admire. Doormats only interest me for a short time then they need to find their last straw and rise up.
Third, I can read or not read what I want. I can comment or not comment. I actually know this on my own, and make my own decisions about it. When people tell others 'if you don't like it, don't read it' I find that taking a superior stance. Not all reviews are going to be positive. Your advice could also apply to comments you disagree with.
