I don't think so... if I remember correctly, there was a revolt and the current king took over. She is the daughter of the previous king. The reason they were looking for her is for extra support from the previous king's faction. Marriage would've strengthened his hold over the kingdom... I think anyway. Hope this helps some

I don't think so. They wiped out the entire royal family except for her so they wouldn't have anyone to report to.
The prince and MC.... are they related? Because the MC is the bastard of the king right? And the prince is mad at the king for reasons? I just want some clarification because I am hella confused.
