I gotta admit that the premise for this story is pretty ridiculous. Two broke emphasis on the broke, college students are taking care of a baby. Its so unrealistic...the only reason they have made it this far is only becuz the plot requires it. Neil is on a scholarship crying out loud! his grades cant afford to suffer or he's screwed. Not to mention Dustin just accepting responsibility for a child when he himself acts like a child. It wud be one thing if the child was biologically one of theirs but its not. So it makes no sense to take on this HUGE undertaking when they arent nearly equipped to do so.
The truth is no one is fully equipped to take care of a babbie. Even the most knowledgeable have a hard time. And these things do happen. My bestie had a kid in college and we all ended up having a crib rotated around our rooms to help her out. This type of thing happens to tons of people everyday.
