The child is still alive but he is already dying of too much pain and good for dead already... So our MC killed the child so that it wont suffer anymore
No. MC wanted to kill the kid to end his suffering, but the kid's organs were already too damaged and exploded before he could. The other kid, the one he saved, saw him putting his hand to the injured kid's face and the organs exploding and connectes the wrong dots
Is that father misaunderstood that our feerless dad is the one who killed his son?
