Why Mc seems ignorant

I saw some other comments talking about why Mc doesn't know stuff about bdsm and I just want to focus on another point I didn't see (sorry if someone already posted something like this and I just missed it)

Ok so at the end of chapter 11 when we see mc doesn't know about safewords, we see him input "safeword" into a search engine and then hold his phone up (like when you search for signal or in his case, I presume, results). Then he says "it's like this again. I should change my phone." Without the second statement, this line is a bit ambiguous but because he says he should change his phone, this is is possibly implied right?:
The master is censoring our mc's phone :/
which is one reason why Mc is so ignorant of bdsm etiquette/rules. It's not hard to place restrictions on someone's phone, especially on sexual related stuff (schools and parents do it all the time). The Mc wants to change to an uncensored phone. It's understandable to be reluctant to search up sex related stuff on public or friends devices so Mc is restricted to his own devices what are also restricted (in terms of content) :(
I think this explanation makes sense but if you disagree, ok then bro like literally what did these scenes mean then huh
