Niki sacrificed herself to save Ml's uncle who died or was at deaths door.
The Uncle was cold and unfeeling with no atatchment to the world or the ppl who died in the process of getting what he wanted (including ppl who loved him).
Niki using the power she had "drains" her until her time ends and she becomes a protector/ world guardian / God.. and her using her power to rave the uncle used up the last of her power. If she hadnt used the remaining power she could have lived with Ml for around 5+ years before becomming the protectior.. but she chose it was more inprotatnt to "save" the uncle..
I feel realy sorry for Ml... FL abandones him at every corner yet dosnt think he needs her to live right.. yet atm the only reason she stayed alive and ate and didnt become the "tryant" again was hes promis with her.. Yet he is breaking every time.

I dropped this when Niki got kidnapped by idk prince (I think the place is desert or something where they also farm salt??) Then Ml met his bro with scar, the place got destroyed cuz' of Niki's power being out of control or something...
