So basically in a nutshell FL’s father and essentially her entire family planned to take her and run from the country when they found out about the marriage. FL/ML/Emperor are concerned her family may rebel or do something even more drastic since they are clearly and firmly against the marriage. Also, there was some concern someone might try and kill her again before the wedding. So in order to stop the FL’s family from talking her away or doing something stupid the FL and ML temporarily left while the wedding is being prepared. Basically once the wedding is ready they’ll return and get married before her family can stop them and then it will be too late.
Oh I forgot. The disguises are because they know FL’s family will try to find her and send people to track her down and take her back if not do so themselves. Since ML is the only person other than his father that has red hair it makes him stick out and super easy to track. So they used the disguises to help hid themselves. If you go back to when their hair/eyes change color that’s why ML is upset at first bc while he was hidden it made her stick out in some ways defeating the purpose of changing in the first place
All right I'm confused on how we got here The story made sense up until they put on disguises and left. Why did they leave? I read the chapter beforehand and it doesn't make any sense and with this most recent chapter it still don't make any sense I skipped around because honestly it's not even worth my time but I still do want to know where is this story going and what's happening
