Same for me so I check under category and set the filter to newest.

Put it as currently reading, it will update you regularly on new chapters

I do but some of them don’t notify me sometimes. I think it’s a bug in the system. I just have the habit now of setting the filters when I want to see what’s been newly updated in addition to my notifications

I usually check my history and select "show all", then it would say something like this manga has updated on the side of it. I'll try out urs to, to see if that works
