i was thinking the same. i have only read two other yaoi in all the years ive been reading yaoi that women raping men was addressed as tramatic. i still have yet to read a yaoi where a seme raping a uke has been addressed as raped and the uke not blinding fall in love with his rapist. its so accepted that sometimes i think yaoi is a big rape culture brainwash

I have, but it's usually because the seme is NOT the designated partner of the uke. Even if the seme did the exact same thing.
I guess it's about the reaction of the uke and how they processed what was happening?
I think it's a trope in manga about saying no because of embarrassment and that they really want it. And that it's somehow a different no when compared to them actually meaning it.
The whole...blurred lines shtick.
The thing is, it's not just yaoi. I see it in shoujo, josei, shounen, seinin, it's everywhere.

"Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan" and "Rainbow" address this as well

Thank you for saying this, I was thinking the same thing.
And I might add that Kazushi is the best friend/lover ever portrayed in a manga. He's not trying to cure Riku's trauma by having sex (which is always forced and the way I see it, rape) like I've seen in other stories, he's seriously respecting Riku's space and waiting for when he's ready to have any kind of intimacy.
Dude...
Is this the first time that male rape by a woman has finally been given a real proper examination as a product of trauma in a manga?
I'm impressed. Usually, in manga it's seen as a good thing for a male to be attacked by a woman. It's never seen as what it is, sexual assault upon a minor.
Poor Tamaki. He got caught up in a trigger warning and never knew and now his heart is broken.
