I dont think he is a creep really. He didnt want him to go to school since he thought the ex at school is making him suffering. Remember he had no common sense of human like community or school.
i agree their love kinda weighed both of them down, the guy wasn't leaving the house or doing anything and kites jealousy was tearing him apart.
Maybe I'm reading too much into what Kite said but I don't think Kite is creepy at all. I mean, yes it is true that Kite loves the other guy and doesn't want the other guy to get together with his ex again but at the end, he helped them out. Remember what he said about whoever takes good care of the plant will be happy. I personally think that Kite did what he did on purpose! Especially when he answers the phone and said "idiot". In my opinion Kite is so sweet and I would choose him over the ex any day!
Kite was not better than the ex! He was a fairy and a bit creepy. He tried to keep the guy bound up in his house! The ex saved him and I think Kite was freed in the end. It was a happy ending for both!
