For the longest time, I thought Chiwoo was traumatized because of the violence, and Jihyun did say he wouldn't do anything he'd regret, so I thought he stopped there. It wasn't until it was repeatedly shown as a flashback that I started wondering that something actually happened. Was going to post a question in the comment after I finish reading but the author actually clarified it in his notes.
Even without it, Jihyun was a complete nutjob and I didn't think he could sink any lower. That guy needs therapy, not a school abroad. Ugh just remembering when he first showed up again, with no hint of remorse and no apology, makes my blood boils.
