And yeah it breaks my heart that she’s blind to the Archduke’s feelings but Chloe doesn’t know that he has feelings for her. It’s safe to say that the Duke at the moment is infatuated with Chloe, probably lusting for her judging by the way he envisions her as his wife/mother to his children in his thoughts. Also, how would the people and the King react when the ArchDuke wants to marry some enslaved princess from the enemy’s country?
