I read this from start to finish it was not perfect but I really liked it a lot the characters are not perfect but I learned a lot from them

Their character development is 100 for me. I don't care about what anybody says.

The best couple award goes to Aiko and her hubby they were unproblematic. Her husband is so loyal in contrast to Nakanishi.

The only one I didn't like is Nakanishi especially when he's thinking about choosing between Asami and the one who confessed to him. I didn't like his reasoning "now I get to choose blah blah blah" and how he's deliberately going out/flirting with girls when he has Asami. I still feel like Asami should have dated that cute classmate of her. He didn't show interest to her appearance but to her out going personality.

I see a lot of the comments hating on Yamato but I genuinely liked his character. I liked he is not perfect and also that he recognizes his mistakes and apologizes for them. I don't understand the hate tbh, I was expecting people to nag more about Nakanishi because he was really shit character from start to finish.

If you're planning to read this I suggest to not find faults in the story. Just enjoy the ride no matter where it takes you.

I want to add I really hated Megumi at first and kept thinking "No you don't need a redemption arc. You don't get to date the perfect Kai." I couldn't forgive her for what she did to Mei but then I liked where the story took her. Her determination to succeed touched my heart. Fine, I can give her Kai.

++++ people seem to forget these characters are HIGHSCHOOL KIDS! They were around 16 when they enter a relationship. As kids, they are bound to be immature, make mistakes etc. etc. Heck, I've met grown ass adults who act a lot more immature than them

Agreed! I think you summed it up perfectly. I didn't like what Nakanishi said because it came off as him seriously wanting both his longterm girlfriend and this college girl he just met. I get that he's a jokester but it was clear that he was seriously weighing the pros and cons of ditching Asami. That being said, I don't think he's the worst by shoujo manga standards, but he's not good either. But even so, I find his relationship with Asami very realistic because we all know couples where one person is just the sweetest person ever and the other one is just a meh.

People who hate on Yamato probably like the toxic shoujo male leads who genuinely physically assault, gaslight, and manipulate the FL. Yamato can be fucking annoying with his wishy washy personality, but they literally address that in the manga as one of his flaws. Yamatos only red flag is that he's had about 50 different women try and date him while he's dating Mei and each and every time he puts up with their advances under the "Good guy" principle. Like he never learns from the whole megumi drama, he does the same crap again later. Other than that 10/10.
