isn't it onizuka sensei?? it has anime and manga itself but it was old one since it was created in 90s or 80s but people still say it was one the best anime at that time till now because it really talks about suicide and the pressure the student felt as young adult in this world.
And the plot is that the sensei is actually an ex gangster until he decided to quit and become a teacher. i haven't watch the entire anime series but see some clips of it. and i could tell you, onizuka sensei is really humoris and there some times he pretty messed up that he almost can't get out of it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
